Local Telecasts add, change
Broadcast times
Peoria Citizens Committee for Economic Opportunity (PCCEO)
announces changes to the broadcast times of its two television
shows it airs on Comcast Cable Channel 22 effective September
3rd.
CAPtions, airing since 1975, will continue to air on
Sundays at 5 pm and Wednesday at 7 pm on Comcast Cable
22 in Peoria County. A Wednesday night/Thursday morning
at 12 am will be added.
In East Peoria, Washington, and Creve Coeur, CAPtions
will move from Wednesdays at 9 pm to 7 pm. A Wednesday night/Thursday morning at 12 am will be added.
JT’s Bourbon Street LIVE, airing since 1993, will continue to air on
Sundays at 8:30 pm Comcast Cable 22 in Peoria County. A Friday night/Saturday morning at 12:30 am will be added.
In East Peoria, Washington, and Creve Coeur, JT’s Bourbon Street LIVE
continue to air Sundays at 8:30 pm, and will move from Fridays at 8 pm to 12:30 am Friday night/Saturday morning.
Dennis Eggemeyer, PCCEO’s CAA Media Service Coordinator, said
“The changes bring alignment to the broadcasts for both sides of
the river. Adding the late night broadcasts gives those who
work 2nd shift or prefer late night viewing a chance to view the
programs. The programs currently do not air in Pekin, but we’re looking at
adding that in the future.”
Eggemeyer added that both TV programs are also available on YouTube
and Facebook.
