Former Chicago Bears Player to Visit Schools to Talk about 2010 Census

Former Chicago Bears tight end (1978-1981) Michael Cobb, will be visiting area schools as part of the U.S. Census Bureau Sports Collaborative, to talk with students about the importance of the 2010 Census. Football heroes are hired by the Census Bureau intermittently because their star power opens doors in the hard to count areas. The athletes are literally walking billboards for Census 2010, and are powerful motivators to encourage individuals to complete the 2010 Census Questionnaire. Stanley D. Moore’s draft picks have the power to build bridges between communities and the Census Bureau; reinforcing the message that due to strict Title 13 laws, no one; not even the President of the United States; can gain access to their ten answers to the Census 2010 Questionnaire.
On Monday March 29th the former NFL player will be visiting:
Lincoln Middle School from 1:00-1:30 p.m.
Franklin-Edison from 1:50-2:20 p.m.
