Code Words For Kids…

I was asked to comment on code words. I use them for my Daughter’s. It determines a failsafe when they are told I and my wife have been in a serious car accident, and really havent. It can be a stutter detected by your child from the person claiming to be there to help. Another code word I advise to children is to think of and pronounce out loud, their name backwards. Hmm, your doing it now arent you ? I tell them do do this when they are panicked, a fire, a car wreck, getting lost at the store, etc.. What it does is block neurotransmitters in the brain, diverts adreneline and causes the child to focus on their name,  thus allowing them a few seconds to calm down and think correctly and camly. Try this with your child and watch how they only focus on the name and not their surroundings. Have fun…

  1. Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any points for inexperienced blog writers? I’d really appreciate it.
